About
The Full Story
The GP Coaching Studio was founded to address a core challenge in Singapore’s education landscape: the tendency to treat General Paper (GP) as a purely academic subject, divorced from its real-world relevance. We believe GP is far more than an examination or a language subject. It is a way of life.
At its heart, GP is an invitation to explore the world deeply and intentionally. It offers students a chance to pursue areas of personal interest, build intellectual confidence, and gain a meaningful head start in fields they care about. It is a bridge to university-level thinking and a foundation for lifelong learning.
More than just content mastery, our coaching helps students connect with global issues, reflect on their role in society, and develop the clarity and empathy needed to make a difference. We aim to nurture naturally curious learners—individuals who think critically, communicate powerfully, and apply their knowledge in service of a better world.

The Coach
The GP Coaching Studio is currently led by Mr Bryan Goh. Prior to starting the GP Coaching Studio, Bryan was an ex-MOE teacher for 8 years and a policy planner with the government service for 6 years. He has also taught private tuition across various levels since 2007. He started the GP Coaching Studio with the belief that learning GP is not just useful for the 'A' Levels, but also for one's relationship with the world. His aim is to help students become confident learners of GP and consequently also become useful citizens of the world. Apart from coaching in GP, Bryan is also currently doing his PhD (Science) in Communications with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Bryan has a Diploma in Education (DipEd), Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Education and a Master of Mass Communication.
